Temple University Offers Graduate Certificate


Serving as global submission manager at pharmaceutical company Pfizer, Jeffrey Autrey has acquired extensive experience in the industry over the past 17 years. He obtained his master’s degree in quality assurance and regulatory affairs (QA/RA) from the School of Pharmacy at Temple University in 2011. Furthermore, Jeffrey Autrey earned a professional graduate certificate in drug development.


The Drug Development Certificate program offered at Temple University provides an introduction to the quality practices and regulatory compliance aspects of the drug development process and prepares students for a career in the pharmaceutical industry. A pre-master’s graduate certificate, studies must be completed within a maximum of three years.

The course curriculum consists of four core courses. In addition to topics related to drug development, students learn about the food and drug law as well as good laboratory and good clinical practices.

Courses are conducted at the Fort Washington University campus as well as online. Students who complete the certificate can fast-track to a master’s degree in QA/RA.
